Chargino Production and Decay in Photon-Photon-Collisions
We study the production and leptonic decay of charginos in collisions of polarized photon beams including the complete spin correlations. The photons can be generated by Compton backscattering of polarized laser pulses off a polarized electron beam. Since the production process is determined alone by the electromagnetic coupling of the charginos this process allows to study their decay dynamics...
متن کاملChargino Pair Production in e+e− Collisions
Charginos χ1 are expected to be the lightest observable supersymmetric particles in many supersymmetric models. We present a procedure which will allow to determine the chargino mixing angles and, subsequently, the fundamental SUSY parameters M2, μ and tanβ by measurements of the total cross section and the spin correlations in e+e− annihilation to χ1 χ − 1 chargino pairs.
متن کاملRadiative Corrections to Chargino Production in Electron-Positron Collisions
The results of a complete one-loop calculation for the production of chargino pairs in electron-positron collisions, including the option of polarized beams, are presented. The calculation has been performed in the on-shell renormalization scheme. Applications to the integrated cross section, to the forward-backward asymmetry for unpolarized beams, and to the left-right asymmetry show that the ...
متن کاملCP VIOLATION IN CHARGINO PRODUCTION IN ee COLLISIONS
Supersymmetry (SUSY) is one of the most promising extensions of the Standard Model (SM) [1] since, among other things, it solves the hierarchy problem, provides a natural candidate for dark matter etc. It also introduces many new sources of CP violation that may be needed to explain baryon asymmetry of the universe. These phases, if large O(1), can cause problems with satisfying experimental bo...
متن کامل(N)LO Simulation of Chargino Production and Decay
We consider NLO chargino production and decays at the ILC. For this, we present an NLO extension of the Monte Carlo Event Generator WHIZARD including the NLO production. For photonic corrections, we use both a fixed order and a resummation approach. The latter method evades the problem of negative event weights and automatically includes leading higher order corrections. We present results for ...
